Audrey Marcum

My name is Ms. Audrey Marcum and I was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I have lived in many different places as I was growing up. I graduated college from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelors in Sociology. I have worked on and off as a Behavioral Interventionist. 

When I lived in Utah, I worked as a Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher at a private school. This is when I realized that I wanted to become a teacher. I enjoyed being around the kids and exploring new things with them.

When COVID hit in 2020, my husband and I moved back to Idaho Falls to be closer to our family. I decided to pursue getting a Teaching Certificate to be licensed to teach in Idaho. I received this certificate in January 2022 and was offered a job here at Alturas International Academy. I’m so excited to be here and look forward to a fantastic school year!
