Sarah Atwell
Grades 4-5
Sarah Atwell has had the opportunity to live all over the country and has been happy to call Idaho Falls home for the last fourteen years. She is married with six beautiful children, four cats, and a dog. She enjoys being active with her family by doing crossfit, skiing, biking, hiking, camping, and traveling. Her favorite ways to relax are reading and sewing.
She completed her bachelor of arts degree in Early Childhood Development from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Ms. Atwell then completed her online master of arts in Teaching while working full time as a first grade teacher. This is her tenth year teaching and she has had the opportunity to teach preschool, pre-kindergarten, first grade, and combined fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. She has also worked as a Title I Intervention tutor for the last five years in District 91.
Ms. Atwell loves learning about the newest research and best practices to implement in her classroom. She enjoys meeting each student where they are and helping to learn and grow to their best potential. Her favorite part of teaching is the energy that students have and how much they love to laugh and have fun while learning.
