At Alturas we are privileged to have bus transportation as an additional service to our students, but that privilege comes with some responsibility on the part of those who use the service. Our highest priority is getting the students transported to and from school safely. Our Bus Rules are intended to support that priority and provide a safe and positive environment for those riding the bus.

Students riding the bus are required to adhere to the Bus Rules at all times. Infractions of these rules can lead to disciplinary action, suspension, or denial of bus services to the offending individual.

Parents are requested to spend time reviewing the rules so their child understands what their responsibility is while riding the bus. In the case of rule infractions, the school administration will work with the student and their parents to remedy any issues.
